Our Vision

When Denver natives Katy Kurtz and Mary Peckham finished law school in the late 1970's, they had a vision. They wanted to create a law firm that was owned entirely by women. They were told they could never succeed.

Established in 1979, Kurtz and Peckham remains the oldest all women-owned law partnership in Denver. From the early days of sharing office space and a part-time secretary, the Firm has grown to include the two named partners, one associate attorney and a staff of capable legal assistants.
